So the only thing that beats Planelopnik are a bunch of remotely piloted spambots. Can't beat them drones, man.

Well, bmwblog beats Planelopnik, but who cares, those cars park like asshats.

Well, BMWblog exist only to market BMWs to Jalops, which is redundantly unnecessary, but very German. The only difference between them and Deals and Co-op is that they sell cars instead of semi-useless gadgets and Kinjaroundup exists solely to market Kinja blogs to other Kinja users. To me spam is spam regardless of what they are selling or whether a human or a machine is at the helm.

Great point. I never thought about how overtly spammy the bmwblog posts are.

I don't know if BMWblog is maintained by BMW or a duly appointed PR firm or if it's a fan blog, but either way it's an advertisement for the brand.

Quantcast is great in most respects and annoying in others — they actually no longer count my views separate from regular Jalopnik. :( Back when I had a sub blog, they did, but now that my stuff is directly posted to Jalopnik.com that's no longer the case.
Nonetheless — Planelopnik is awesome and seeing the sub-blogs and Kinja sites do well is a benefit for the whole community. A rising tide and all that. I love it!!!

I figured your jalopnik column didn't count towards your personal kinja but I couldn't lose an opportunity to bust your balls, especially since I'm not a YouTube commenter. Only reason planelopnik is doing well is from FP shares which is great to see.
